Early event registrations

With overwhelming support for this year’s successful Cauliflower Club Rugby Lunch, we are beginning our planning for 2024. The event is the Club’s premier fundraising event, and as rugby fans, fanatics and players, we use the event to share the love of Rugby. This year’s theme celebrated some of our glory days of the 90s with an incredible line-up of Wallaby greats. Next year, we’re looking at future stars.

Stay tuned for details. In the coming months we will share early registration offers to subscribers before tickets go on sale early next year.

Rugby World Cup

We wish the Wallabies all the best as they begin their Rugby World Cup campaign against Georgia on September 10 AEST.

Whilst we are none from five under new coach Eddie Jones, he has picked a revitalised team full of youth and energy – alongside new captain Will Skelton – to signal in a new era for the Wallabies.

Matches against Wales and Fiji in our pool will be ones to watch. If we can place in the top two, a favourable draw means we will meet either England or Argentina in the quarters.

Long story short, we have a realistic run to the semi-finals, and if we can time our run, who knows what might happen from there. Eddie’s record speaks for itself, and we have the talent in spades. Let’s go Wallabies!

CCXV UPDATES

With a hugely successful event in Cootamundra in March and the unfortunate postponement of our Shoalhaven event, the Squad is back in pre-season training for our next CCXV event next March – where will the CCXV pop up next? You’ll need to stay tuned to find out! The CCXV was formed in 2017 with our inaugural Charity match versus Cooma Rugby Old Boys. We play traditional Golden Oldies Rugby - we don't play for sheep stations, we play for just another run onto the paddock with our mates against good Rugby blokes - uncontested rucks and scrums, plenty of camaraderie and a few beers thrown in for good measure. The CCXV boasts regular Rugby Old Boys from Rugby Clubs around Australia and former Wallabies who generously donate their time and money to play against fellow Old Boy Rugby Clubs who share our passion for Rugby and helping those less fortunate.

We uphold the values and traditions that make our game of Rugby the game they play in heaven and use these fixtures to promote the Cauliflower Club and Rugby in general, with the intention of raising much needed funds for the disabled, catastrophically injured players and country rugby.

If your business or company is interested in becoming a Sponsor of the Cauliflower Club XV, helping us to promote The Cauliflower Club Rugby Charity, please contact CCXV President Steve Adamson – prop@teamplayerapparel.com.au
